omg help me!!

Hi this is Caroline. I have an emergency! Ok first let me explain. I made my own website, called Salem Heights. (Sorry I sort of copied the "Heights" thing, but I couldn't think of anything else) First of all, I want you all to know that I will still be able to get on this one, but just not quite as much. But here is the problem: Every time I make certain Smileys, like this :) or this :P it replaces it with an animation, which is bad because it gives your computer a virus! Okay, it has not given me a virus yet as far as I know, but you all said it does so now I am scared! If anyone knows how to fix that please let me know!

Go onto the administration panel, and just search through everything. Somewhere there is a button that says disable smilies, and click that. Sorry I dont' know more! or you can just make smilies like this q:

ok here i'll talk you threw the steps! and yeah the first website we made got a virus because of that!

1.go to the bopttom of the page when u r logged in

2.find the tabs at the top of the page titled genral, display, moduals, and users and groups, plus misc!

3. click on display

4. find the bar on the side that has titles like avatars, front page, pic and colors, style, ect.

5. under avatars click on smilies

6. scroll down until u see the smilies on the homepage.

7. scroll up to the top of the smilies and find the green tabs and under actions (don't click on it) find the red X and press that on all of the smilies but when u do the last on don't click go back to the smilies page or else it will make all the smilies pop back up!

8. go bakc ot your webstie and refreash the page and it should work!
