Sham at work

Sham was finishing up the roof on the large house. It was taking longer than he expected. He sighed and sat on the edge of the roof. He drank some water and wiped his mouth, looking at the sun. He got up and walked back to the area he had been working on. Suddenly, one of the people he had been working with, started slipping. Sham jumped up and tried to grab him, but he still fell. Everyone screamed. He made a sickening thud on the ground. Sham jumped down as quickly as he could. The guy wasn't dead, but he was bleeding badly. sham called an ambulence. As they took the guy away, Sham shook his head. It was quite a shaky thing. He wonderd what would happen if that man had been him. It scared him, to think about poor Annabelle. He slowly climbed back to the roof, and started working again.
