Sarah walked in to the theater, a little bit of the glory from the morning shattered by an embarrassing spill. "Name please?" called someone standing by the door with a clipboard.
"Sarah Everwood?" replied Sarah. She looked up at him through her huge sunglasses.
"Ahh, yes our star! You will be up in the front, seat 6."
Sarah smiled, and walked off, the bounce back in her step. As she sat down, a timer went off somewhere, and a tall man with grey hair stepped out from behind a curtain. He would look like any normal middle-aged man, exept for his bright purple glasses. Just looking at him made Sarah smile.
"Hello everyone, and welcome!" He spoke with a slightly high pitched voice, but Sarah liked it. She listened to him go on about their production, and go over all the rules. She didn't really pay attention, just listened to his voice.
"Um, hello, anyone there?" A woman was going around passing out scripts, and Sarah was staring blankly into space.
"OH! Sorry!" Sarah took it from the woman. She read the title, Oklamhoma! And read the first few lines. She had seen the movie, but they plays are always a little bit different. It sounded pretty good though, and she and the others were soon dismissed.
As Sarah walked out of the theater, a man ran up to her. "Hey!" he called out, "Your the lead girl right? Yeah, I'm the lead man! Cool, right?"
Sarah looked him over from head to toe...he was cute. He had light brown hair, blue eyes, and a few freckles-but they were nearly invisible.
"Oh, um, yeah that's me!" She giggled nervously, and a bit embarrassed.
"Well, we should hang out some time." He winked and walked off. Sarah felt a shiver run down her spine.
