Hugo and Rozalyn

Hugo kicked around some dirt as he watched Rozalyn get ready to ride. She plopped down the big saddle on Blue (my good old blue sweade shoes, was his show name) her horse. He grunted with the weight. She tied the girth and then straind to tighten it, by pulling the straps in opposite directions, and then looping it so it was tight. She put the stirrup down and then went to his front. She put the bit in his mouth, and then slipped the loop over his ear. That was it. "Ok, ready..." Hugo went out with her to watch her practice trail. She pulled herself up without a mounting block, while Hugo pulled the split rains around blues neck. He popped himself on the head once (i do that ALOT..it hurts) Rozalyn put the rains in her right hand, and pulled over the rains that dangled around Blue's feet. She let the rains go loose as she put him into a slow jog. He was really good. Star was much too fast, and would jog so fast Hugo would have to post! Blue went hardly faster than a walk, same with his canter. Rozalyn put her left hand in her pocket. Hugo smiled as he watched her practice. Hugo looked over at the pasture. Tony and camelot were running around. Hugo shook his head and went to get Camelot. "You silly.." he put her in her stall. She was acting very funny. Hugo shook his head. "I'll have your owner look at you.." he said sarcastically. camelot snorted and pinned her ears slightly. "all right all right, I'm leaving! see?" he put his hands up and laughed as he backed away from her. She grunted satsfied, and went back to eating her hay.

Annabelle came running through the barn. She saw Hugo. He waved but she kept running. she had around 20 horses to check up on, and she was supposed to have been there an HOUR ago! She went to Star's stall first, but soon realized there was noone there. She looked at Hugo, who just looked away. She guessed he still blamed himself, and Leah. she went to Camelot next, who was being very moody. "Touchy...ok, fine, BE that way!" she went to Tony next. This was the first time she had actually checked him up. She looked at him up and down. "Your a pretty good boy..." she suddenly got a very bad thought. "Uh-oh..." but she shook her head, she would worry about that later, when she could figure out for sure. She put him back and went to camelot, who was a lot happier now that she had some food. "You've been a very nauty girl.." Annabelle said as Camelot kicked at her when she gave her a vaccine. "Hey!" camelot nickered to her. Annabelle shook her head. "All right, your good too.." next was Lady, then Blue, and then the rest of the horses, except star..of course.
